Some insulin pumps used by people with diabetes could potentially be hacked causing patients to receive the wrong amount of insulin, a security researcher from Meridian, Idaho has revealed. Jerome (aka Jay) Radcliffe announced at the Black Hat Technical Security Conference in Las Vegas that he had experimented on his own pump and discovered an alarming security flaw in a device that is critical for his health and that of many other diabetes sufferers.
